real food

 Real food. Good food.

We love food. Especially when its prepared with love & care, locally produced, fresh & flavoursome. This area is home to some amazing food producers.

Heading to the market on a Wednesday morning, you can buy sheep’s cheese from Karine who made it, and she’ll point you in the direction of the slopes where her flock graze in summer. You can buy vegetables from Sylvie & Yannick, who grow and sell their own produce, and honey from Benoît who has bee hives dotted around the valley. You can walk up the hill with an empty bottle and have it filled with raw milk, direct from the little farm shop next to the milking parlour.

This isn’t fancy-foodie territory, there’s no foam or fancy garnishes tweezer’d into position. This is a place where you can enjoy good, honest, tasty food, bought direct from local producers who care about quality and animal husbandry.

We grow most of our own vegetables in the summer season, and spend time preparing and preserving it for the winter season. Rhubarb crumble, peach ice-cream, pumpkin soup... if you’re eating that with us, chances are its come from our garden. Zero food miles, maximum taste. Whether you’re using our flexi-catered service or staying on a self-catered basis, your taste-buds are in for a treat.
